Gold Star Spouses' Day, April 5, honors the widows and widowers of military members who died in combat while serving in the U.S. Armed Forces, and U.S. Army Garrison Fort Wainwright continues to recognize and support them all year through the Survivor Outreach Services program.
The Army is dedicated to paying tribute to fallen service members and the Family members they left behind, and will continue to provide programs and services to take care of Gold Star spouses and other surviving Family members.
Spouses of fallen Soldiers are encouraged to reach out to our Survivor Outreach Program. We are always here to help in any way we can.
