- Registration form can be downloaded here.
- Items can only be viewed at the Automotive Skills Center Storage Lot, 3730 Oak Street, Fort Wainwright, AK Thursday thru Sunday during regular business hours through the 28th. No additional viewing or bids accepted after 4:30pm Friday, February 28. Bill of Sale or SF97 will be required to enter the lot after Friday.
- Bids will be opened and reviewed starting Thursday, February 13. Viewing available during Auto Skills business hours (Thurs-Sun, 1030-2000). All items that received bids are typically notified within two weeks. Tied bids will be determined by first received. You must accept or pass on the item at the time of the call – only items you are the top bidder on at the time of the call can be discussed.
- Winning bids will be called starting no later than the following Thursday. Winning bids must be paid for with cash, money order, or credit card within 24 hours of notification (credit card over the phone, cash/money order in person – 3730 Oak Street, Fort Wainwright, AK. All items must be removed within 48 hours of notification, or a storage fee of $20/day will begin accruing after 48 hours).
- Minimum bid is $500 unless posted otherwise. All bids must be received by 4:30p.m. Friday, February 28 to be eligible. No late bids will be accepted.

Self-Help
Ten bays, including eight that are complete with lifts will make it easy for you to do the work yourself or under the guidance of an Auto Skills Center staff member. Auto Skills has all the tools and space you need to keep your vehicle in top condition. The Safety Orientation Class is a requirement to use the facility. - Mandatory Safety Orientation

In order to use the bays within the Automotive Skills Center, you must complete the 30 minute Safety Orientation.
Participants will gain knowledge on basic shop operations and safety requirements as well as what the Automotive Skills Center can offer. Classes are approximately 30 minutes and followed by a short quiz. A qualification card will be issued to attendees upon completion of the class stating their approval to use the facility. No prior registration is needed. Please no late arrivals.

Thursday - Sunday: Noon and 5:30 p.m.
- Women's Clinic

The Automotive Skills Center offers a class exclusively for women. This hands-on learning experience covers a variety of topics, from routine maintenance to minor repairs.
Classes are held every Thursday at 6 p.m. Registration is recommended by calling +1 (907)353-7436.

Car Wash
Alaskan roads can leave a thick layer of dirt on your vehicle throughout the year. Stop by Auto Skills and use one of their three indoor, heated car wash bays to keep your vehicle clean all year round. Each bay also has a vacuum station.
