Looking to get your car serviced by experienced mechanics at a reasonable rate? Stop by the Automotive Skills Center and let the staff diagnose your vehicle.
They also have ASE Certified Mechanics on duty that will repair your vehicle by appointment.
There are Ten bays that can be used for Self-Help, including eight that are complete with lifts will make it easy for you to do the work yourself or under the guidance of an Auto Skills Center Auto Skills has all the tools and space you need to keep your vehicle in top condition.
*The Safety Orientation Class is a requirement to use the variety of times for your convenience. Please see the Mandatory Safety Orientation tab for more information.

Viewing Dates- Open for viewing August 21-24, 28-29 from 12:30pm-4:30pm
Auction closes August 29 at 4:30pm. Sale Date- August 29, Sealed/completed Bids will be accepted from first viewing date through August 29 @ 4:30pm, no late bids will be accepted.
Winning bids will be called starting no later than the following Thursday. Minimum bid for this auction will vary from $200-$500.00 , minimum bid will be posted on the vehicles.

- Car Wash

Alaskan roads can leave a thick layer of dirt on your vehicle throughout the year. Stop by Auto Skills and use one of their three indoor, heated cayour vehicle clean all year round. Each bay also has a vacuum station.
- Mandatory Safety Orientation

In order to use the bays within the Automotive Skills Center, you must complete the 30 minute Safety Orientation.
Participants will gain knowledge on basic shop operations and safety requirements as well as what the Automotive Skills Center can offer. Classes are 30 minutes and followed by a short quiz. A qualification card will be issued to attendees upon completion of the class stating their approval to use registration is needed. Please no late arrivals.

Thursday - Sunday: Noon and 5:30 p.m.
- Tire Changeover

Snow Tire changeover each fall and spring. Snow Tire removal by April 30. Deadline may extend depending on road conditions.
*Alignment repairs/adjustments and suspension repairs are additional cost & may require scheduling appointment. (Alignment base price $75/per hour)
- Winterization

Winterize your vehicle before the cold hits. Bring your vehicle into the Automotive Skills Center and let our staff perform the work for you or complete your project by using one of our fully equipped bays.
Winterization service includes oil pan heater, transmission heater, engine block heater and trickle charger. Also included: Battery pad heater, antifreeze, 3 or 4 way plug.
