The BOSS program offers a variety of events and activities to help Soldiers make the most of their free time. From exciting outdoor adventures to social gatherings and volunteer opportunities, BOSS provides fun, meaningful ways to stay active, meet new people, and enjoy military life.

Come for dinner stay for comedy. We will be serving Dinner before the comedy show. You do have to register and pay in advance for your dinner. It will be $25 per dinner. Order your dinner here. Add the date of the event for you date and pick up time, scroll down to Special Event Meals and selects 1 of 3 options; brisket burnt ends, chicken cordon bleu w/cheese sauce, or mushroom ravioli w/cheese sauce. Alcohol will be available for purchase.

Surviving Winter

Surviving Winter

Hosted by ODR, surviving winter, should help you prepare for the harsh winters of interior Alaska. They will talk about proper gear and equipment and the best clothing. ODR will also display their winter equipment and talk about future programs like ice fishing, ice climbing, snow machining, cross country skiing, fat tire biking, and more!

Outdoor Rock Climbing Trip

9 am - 5 pm

Go rock climbing at Grapefruit Rocks. All gear will be provided and all skill levels are welcome. Participants should bring a good pair of shoes, water, and their own lunch/snacks.
