B.O.S.S. is offering a special overnight camping trip for all B.O.S.S. eligible Single Parents and their children, on June 14-15, 2018.
Activities to include camp setup, fishing, a nature walk, fire making and bean bag toss.
The Clearwater River outside of Delta Junction is one of the clearest streams in the interior, and we'll be camping right next to it in the Clearwater State Recreation Area.
Outdoor Recreation will provide:
- The camp site
- Food and water
- Tents, sleeping bags & sleeping pads
- All outdoor gear for the activities provided
Participants need to bring:
- Bug spray
- Rain gear
- Sunscreen and sunglasses
- Jackets and warm clothes
- Any drinks other than water
- Snacks
- All other personal items they deem necessary
The campground has water from a pump and outhouses.
Meet at the Outdoor Recreation Center at 8am. An Alaska State Fishing License is required for anyone over 16 years of age wanting to fish!
Cost
$125 per parent and 1 child.
Additional children are $75 each.
Registration Information
Space is limited to 8 people, so pre-registration is required.
The deadline to register is June 8, 2018.
