As a part of the Newcomers Orientation, the Information Fair is a great way for incoming Soldiers, Family Members, and DoD Civilians to learn what Fort Wainwright and the surrounding communities have to offer. Representatives from many local businesses, agencies, and organizations are present to help you familiarize yourself to your new home.

The Newcomers Orientation brief is mandatory for all incoming Soldiers to the installation and takes place the second and fourth Wednesday of each month.

The orientation will be held at the Last Frontier Community Activity Center from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.. Military Spouses and DoD civilians are highly encouraged to attend.

Before attending the Newcomers Orientation, take a look at the Garrison Commander's Welcome Letter and Information Packet. The packet will help orient you to Fort Wainwright and the surrounding communities before you attend the official orientation.
