An official army family and MWR Site

School Age Center

The School Age Center (SAC) is nationally accredited by the Council on Accreditation and serves children in Kindergarten through sixth grades. SAC provides before and after school care with age appropriate child centered activities. Stimulating activities are offered in a variety of environments which include, but are not limited to, arts and crafts, games, technology, performing arts, science and a homework assistance program. A full size gymnasium is used by all ages for their physical development.

The program provides opportunities to participate in 4H and Boys & Girls Clubs of America activities. SAC is also open full time during the summer and during school breaks to offer camps with a variety of activities and field trips.

Part Day Preschool

The program offers two, three and five day sessions each week. Morning and afternoon classes are available depending on enrollment. Each session consists of three hours of enrichment.

Part Day Preschool is for children 3-5 years of age. We offer Monday/Wednesday/Friday and Tuesday/Thursday morning classes and Monday/Friday afternoon classes. Children must be registered with Parent Central Services to attend.

To enroll parents need to contact Parent Central Services at +1 (907)353-7713.

Military Child Care

MilitaryChildCare.com (MCC) provides a single online gateway for families to
access military-operated or military-subsidized child care options worldwide
across all Services. The site enables families to create a household
profile, conduct child care searches, submit requests for care, and manage
their requests at any time and from any location.

The DoD site offers a more streamlined approach to finding and requesting
care, expedites placement through a standardized request process and
waitlist management tools, and provides reports that help programs better
plan for future placement needs.

Through MilitaryChildCare.com, eligible families can search and request care
for full day and part day options in facility-based and home-based programs
for children from birth through age 12. Families may remain on a preferred
program's waitlist even after being offered care or enrolling in another
program.
