Library
Our vision is to provide the community of Fort Wainwright access to high quality materials and programs to support the mission and lifelong learning goals for Soldiers, Family Members, Retirees, and DoD Civilians.
The Library supports a wide variety of interests by offering materials and programs catered to the military community. Wireless Internet, computers, audio books, DVDs, video games, music, children and adult books are available to all DoD ID-Cardholders.
The library will be closed on Tuesday, July 23rd, for maintenance. Story Time is canceled. The library will reopen on Wednesday, July 24th, at 9:00 AM. Starting Tuesday, June 18, there will be construction that is expected to last about a month. During this time customers will enter through the southwest emergency exit. This entrance has a step up and is slightly narrow. Customers needing assistance entering the building should park on the north side of the library (near the bank) and call the front desk 907-353-2642 for assistance accessing the staff entrance.
