The Yukon Quest 2020 Watch Party

The Yukon Quest is a 1,000 Mile International Dog Sled Race from Fairbanks to Whitehorse. 

The race gets its name from the "highway of the north", which is the Yukon River and the historical winter land routes traveled by prospectors, adventures and mail and supply carriers traveling between the gold fields of the Klondike and those in the Alaska interior.

This year, ODR will coordinate the Fort Wainwright Yukon Quest event with a viewing of area of the race at ODR's boat launch area and will also provide families with free Snowmobile rides through Glass Park and along Chena's iced lake. There will also be a setup static displays of ODR's winter and summer rental equipment.
