Adventure awaits those that take the Summer Reading Challenge!

#
Note: This event has already passed.

Excitement and fun await those who journey to the Fort Wainwright Post Library and
participate in the summer reading program, Dig Deeper, Read, Investigate, and Discover with your Library!

To ensure the safety of everyone remains, this year's summer reading program is virtual! No worries! You will still be able to earn the badges and prizes that come with doing the program with all of the reading that you do!

What is the Summer Reading Program?
During the summer months (June 15 - September 1), DoD-MWR Libraries around the world host a range of free activities for children, teens, and adults that encourage and support a love of reading! Participants also can earn prizes by reaching their reading and activity goals.

How do I sign-up?
To sign-up for the Summer Reading Program, log on to FortWainwright.Beanstack.org and create an account (free to you). Once you sign-up for an account, download the mobile app to easily log your books and reading minutes.

How will the VirtualSummer Reading Program work?
It will work in 3 easy steps...
1. Read
2. Log your minutes and enjoy our free activities
3. Earn rewards
Once you have your Beanstack account set up, you will be able to log your reading minutes virtually starting June 15. Various prizes will be awarded by age group for participation and the Top Readers.

When can I pick up my prizes?
Call the Post Library at (907) 353-2642 and tell the staff your name and that you wish to pick up your Summer Reading Prizes. The Library staff will gather the prizes and then bring them out to you curbside pick-up.
