Third Thursdays

Third Thursday @ Wainwright is a new monthly community event hosted by USAG Alaska MWR that brings Soldiers, military families, community organizations, and local businesses together in one convenient location.

Held on the third Thursday of each month, the event will showcase MWR programs, installation support agencies, and trusted community partners while highlighting upcoming events, recreational opportunities, resources, and services available on and around Fort Wainwright. Attendees can connect with organizations, meet local sponsors and vendors, discover new opportunities, enjoy giveaways, and learn about everything happening in the Fort Wainwright community.

Designed to replace the traditional Newcomers Information Fair, Third Thursday @ Wainwright expands the audience beyond newly arrived Soldiers and Families to welcome the entire installation community. Through collaboration with our partners and sponsors, the event will become a monthly destination for connection, discovery, and community engagement.
