Cook Book Club is BACK!

Love to cook? Love to eat? Love to talk FOOD? Join us for the return of Cook Book Club—a fun, low-pressure way to explore new recipes and share a meal together.

 Location: LFCAC – 1044 Apple St

(Hosted by Fort Wainwright Post Library during the library building closure)

How it works:

• Visit library staff at the LFCAC temporary customer service window

Tuesday–Friday | 10 AM–4 PM

• Pick a recipe from the featured cookbook

• Cook at home

• Bring your finished dish to share at the meeting

We’ll chat about kitchen wins and fails, ingredient swaps when Alaska grocery shelves are bare, and all things delicious. Participants will also vote on future cookbooks!

Your Pasta Sucks: A “Cookbook” by Matteo Lane (“Not a chef, but opinionated.”)

Try making ricotta from scratch, polenta, meatballs, regional Italian pastas like carbonara or pasta al limone—or kick things off with a Big Salad or end sweet with tiramisu.
