An official army family and MWR Site

COVID-19 Updates

We are committed to ensuring the health and safety of our Soldiers, Family Members, Retirees, Civilians, and the entire community. Family and MWR, along with USAG Alaska leadership, will continue to evaluate current day-to-day operations, and promise to keep you informed.

Facility and program updates are available under the "COVID-19 SAFETY" tab on each facility's webpage.

Keeping the Community Safe

In addition to our staff and customers following social distancing and face covering guidelines, we have increased our protocols in sanitizing ALL of our facilities. High touchpoint areas such as interior and exterior doors/handles, countertops, surfaces, pieces of equipment, furniture, tables, chairs, etc. are sanitized on a regular basis.

Wear a mask at all times when inside of a Family and MWR facility or when you are within six feet of another person(s). Avoid being exposed; practice appropriate hand washing with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, if unavailable use an alcohol-based (at least 60%) hand sanitizer. Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth; avoid close contact with those who are sick; clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces (work and home).

We courage our patrons to follow the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) Guidance and practice social distancing and other prevention techniques.
