Physical Fitness Center (PFC)


Our Sports & Fitness Centers include:

Sports & Fitness Center use is free and open to all eligible Family and MWR authorized users (16 and older), including retirees and family members.


Physical Fitness Center has a well-balanced program for the community with community and intramural level individual and team sports, including:

Fitness Coordinators

Whether you are new to working out, looking to take workouts to a higher level or just need motivation during your exercise routine, certified fitness coordinators on staff are ready to assist you. The coordinators are free of charge and are available on a first come first serve basis or by appointment.

PFC Ice Rink

Open during the winter months, the PFC Ice Rink is a versatile indoor rink that offers both hockey and ice skating.

In addition to scheduled hockey games and events, open skate times are available throughout the week. Lessons are also available by registering through the PFC.

Recreational Ice Skating Prices:

4 years and under: Free
5-17 years old: $3
Adults (18 years and older): $4
Family pack (family of 4): $10

Skate rental: $2

*Lunchtime Open Skate: $2

Recreational Hockey (Weekdays): $2 (Goalies fee)
Recreational Hockey (Weekends): $4 (Goalies fee)


Ice Skating Lessons:

We offer group skating lessons for ages 6 to Adult, all with exceptional student to teacher ratios. Skating classes are designed to take participants from beginning steps through advanced Freestyle levels.

**Classes begin in Fall/Winter

Beginner Class: Wednesdays, 4 -4:30 p.m.
Intermediate Class: Wednesdays and Fridays, 4:45 - 5:15 p.m.
Adult Class: Fridays, 4 - 4:30 p.m.

All class levels are $50 per person, for 4 lessons. Each lesson lasts 30 minutes.
Skate rental is included in the fee.

Students should arrive at least 15 minutes before class. It is recommended that new students skate one time before their lesson to become accustomed to the ice and determine the proper size of skates.

All Skating Class students should wear warm clothing, gloves and clothes that allow them to move easily on the ice. Helmets are always recommended, especially for children six and under.

Fitness Classes

Sports and Fitness offers classes on a scheduled basis. The schedule changes monthly, and new classes are always being added. Join in on group fitness, and get in a great workout!


A high-energy, fun workout that includes weights and cardio to shape and sculpt the core and lower body area.

Work every muscle in every angle using steps and weights. This total body workout is designed to get your body moving while toning and strengthening your muscles.

Boot Camp
This interval training class alternates between various body-sculpting moves and aerobic exercises. This indoor or outdoor workout (dependent on season) will increase your muscular and cardio strength and endurance.

Cardio Kickboxing
A high-intensity interval workout integrating a combination of punches and kicks for a full body workout.

A low impact, high-intensity workout that burns calories like no other cardio class. Follow your instructor on imaginary bike rides that will include endurance rides and challenging climbs up hills and fast down hills.

Cycling & Abs
Splitting the class between intense cardio on the bike and focus on the entire core, this workout will get your heart racing and your abdominals shaking!

An easy going class designed for moms in all levels of fitness who are either pregnant, newly postpartum, or beyond the baby stages! Each movement can be modified to meet varying intesity levels and needs.

Pump & Pedal
A class designed for all levels to sculpt and tone while increasing and maintaining your heart rate. This class mixes cycling with weight lifting and muscle endurance. Burn fat and gain muscle by cycling through this combo class.

Start training to the beat! This class combines body weight, muscle conditioning, cardio, and plyometric training moves synced to original music that has been specifically designed to match every move.

Use weights like you never have before! This class works each muscle group in the lower and upper body with your choice of weight on a barbell to improve your strength and endurance.

Upper Cut
A low impact, high-intensity workout that burns calories like no other cardio class. Follow your instructor on imaginary bike rides that will include endurance rides and challenging climbs up hills and fast down hills.

This relaxing class not only strengthens your body, but also the mind. Our yoga practice integrates mind, body, and breath awareness through postures, movements, and asanas.

Fuses hypnotic Latin rhythms, hip-hop, and easy-to-follow aerobic moves to create a high energy, fat-burning “dance” fitness classes that will blow you away!
