Calling all nominations for Volunteers of the Year!
Nominations due no later than April 3, 2020
Each year, USAG Alaska recognizes volunteers in our community, and we need your help to find out who these very special people are that are out there helping others.
The Volunteer Recognition Ceremony recognizes volunteers who are registered and have logged 100+ hours into the Volunteer Management Information System (VMIS) between January 1 and December 31, 2019. Volunteers are placed into four categories: Youth (ages 13-18), Active Duty Military, Military Family Member, and Department of the Army Civilian or Retiree.
Each registered organization is allowed to submit a nomination packet via PDF (click to automatically download) or via Word for a volunteer in each category. Completed nomination packets should be digitally sent to Army Community Services no later than April 3, 2020.
Please be advised that this is an invitation only event. Qualifying volunteers will be notified of their acceptance to the Volunteer Recognition Ceremony.
