Family and MWR serves over 40,000 Soldiers, Family Members, Retirees, and Civilian employees in the U.S. Army Garrison Alaska communities, to include Fort Wainwright, Fort Greely, Valdez Glacier Campground, and Seward Military Resort.

The Family and MWR Commercial Sponsorship and Advertising Office is the central point of contact on Fort Wainwright and Fort Greely for businesses to promote their products and services. The Commercial Sponsorship and Advertising Program offers businesses the opportunity to present their company's message in a variety of creative ways to our Army community. Sponsorship gives businesses access to our Army community and helps them build goodwill, as well as, brand recognition among this loyal growing market. Family and MWR Sponsorship and Advertising is the financial or in-kind support of a Family and MWR program or activity. Most activities and events operated by Family and MWR are eligible for sponsorship support.
Sponsorship and Advertising revenues are used to support vital Family and MWR programs including: childcare, fitness and recreation activities, food and beverage operations, and many other programs enjoyed by Soldiers, Families, Retirees, and DoD-Civilians in the Fort Wainwright and Fort Greely communities.
Branding opportunities include advertising on our websites (wainwright.armymwr.com and greely.armymwr.com), Chena Bend Clubhouse and Golf Course, Newcomers Expo Information Fairs, as well all other out-of-home advertising opportunities like digital monitor advertising, banner placement, window/table /wall/floor clings, and more. Branding opportunities are available during Family and MWR events like Summer Concert, smaller concert and entertainment events, Tree Lighting Ceremony, and so much more!
